Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a dynamic team to implement and deploy solutions in a customer context, addressing the unique challenges of electric power transport and distribution systems.
- Engage with critical infrastructure systems, where cybersecurity is a top priority, ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance.
- Work on diverse projects involving pure cloud development, on-premises integration with SCADA systems, and hybrid solutions that combine both environments.
- Utilize your expertise in IP networking and Linux OS. Familiarity with Windows Server is a plus.
- Draw on your software engineering experience to contribute to the growth and success of Operato's production environment.
- A background in computer science or a related field, with a couple of years of experience in software production environments.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, showcasing programs developed in free time.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, and Python, with knowledge of PostgreSQL and Grafana as a plus.
- Strong understanding of IP networking and Linux operating systems.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment, contributing to problem-solving and innovation.
- Effective communication skills, with an ability to convey technical concepts clearly.

Technical Writer
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, installation guides, and FAQs, predominantly in English.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise content for different audiences, including engineers, system operators, and non-technical users.
- Collaborate with software engineers and the CTO to understand new features and updates.
- Ensure consistency and clarity in all documentation, aligning with industry best practices.
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, and other visuals to enhance documentation.
- Assist in developing training materials, tutorials, and knowledge base articles.
- Gather user feedback to improve documentation quality and usability.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a software or engineering-focused company.
- Strong ability to write clear, structured, and engaging content for technical and non-technical users.
- Experience working with APIs, software development teams, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects with the precision needed in a critical infrastructure environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO27001 standards.
- Familiarity with software documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, Docusaurus, or similar).
- Experience writing API documentation and working with OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, power grids, or energy management systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Experience with multimedia content creation (e.g., video tutorials, interactive guides).
